
“Never say ‘kekko’ until you’ve seen Nikko” (kekko means beautiful in Japanese). Nikko is well-known for its hot springs. The city draws many national and international tourists to enjoy the sublime splendor of Nikko’s breathtaking waterfalls, numerous shrines (e.g., the Futarasan Shrine) and historical landmarks like the mausoleum of shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu.
